Key Duties

Vacancies will be filled in the following specialty areas: Director Enterprise Actions. The following are the duties of this position at the full working level:

  • Receive and review all incoming mail and correspondence for the manager, referring only to those requiring personal attention.
  • Exercise control over the manager’s appointments, with authority for commitments of time.
  • Maintain confidential files of sensitive material for the manager.
  • Conduct various administrative tasks, including labor relations matters.

 

Requirements Conditions of Employment

  • STANDARD POSITION DESCRIPTIONS (SPD): 93209
  • 1-year probationary period is required (unless already completed).

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement:

  • SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-07 LEVEL: You must have 1 year of specialized experience at a level equivalent to GS-06 in the Federal service. Specialized experience includes tasks like screening and answering telephone calls, organizing and maintaining files, reviewing correspondence for proper format, and providing advice and assistance.

AND

  • Applicants must be a qualified typist with a minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.

AND

  • MEET TIME IN GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT: You must have served at least one year (52 weeks) at the next lower grade or equivalent in the normal line of progression.

AND

  • TIME AFTER COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT: Current civilian employees must have completed at least 90 days of federal civilian service since their latest non-temporary appointment from a competitive referral certificate.

 

Education

A copy of your transcripts or equivalent documentation is required for positions with an education requirement.
